In the past year, the market for computers has grown considerably Netbooks such as it is one of the most popular options for many consumers seeking low-cost laptop that will permit an effective network connectivity so permanent.

That is why there are now countless models manufactured by the leading brands in computers, which offer high performance, and differentiate into various aspects of their hardware.

Since the first Netbook called EEEPC Asus manufactured by the company, until now, not just the big hardware companies have been big business behind this type of equipment, but also sell mini computers made by companies trying to gain ground unknown in this area.

Therefore, when buying a Netbook we must take into account a number of key points to compare a team suited to our requirements.

In principle

It should be noted that Netbooks are computers set up specifically to perform simple tasks, so they are not the ideal equipment for large number of processes, let alone to work on audio and video editing.

This type of mini computers, to be fully portable are ideal for users who travel often and need a computer that allows them to do some office work, surf the Internet, check email and instant messaging to communicate via webcam contacts.

While currently most Netbooks LCDs have a size of 7 inches, as is the case of equipment manufactured by Asus, the truth is that there are some models on the market that have an LCD screen up 10 inches, thus more work space.

As for the keyboard, because they are mini computers is logical that the keyboard is small, so in this case the new netbook users should get used to smaller keys and touchpad.

Storage Capacity

Another key feature to consider when purchasing a Netbook is the capacity and type of storage it offers.

There are several models with different components for data storage. Netbooks have some type disk (SSD), and others with conventional hard drives, that is mechanical.

While a mechanical drive provides increased storage capacity, the fact is that SSD disks have a higher rate and robustness are much more resistant to shock and accidents, so it is ideal on a Netbook that has solid disk as the team constantly being transported, may be prone to falls and blows.

Also important is the storage capacity because at present we can find models of mini computers with records from 20 Gb to 250 Gb, though this is exclusive of the budget that we have to buy the Netbook.

Memory

Another significant aspect to consider is without doubt the memory held by the team, and although most of the Netbooks have the type DDR2 RAM 1 GB, the ideal is to buy a computer that allows us to extend the future easily without the need for service.

Autnomía

One of the most important points in which we stress when buying a Netbook is the autonomy status offered, as these consisted of a laptop is logical that we need to work as much time as possible between charges.

Consider a four-cell battery has a duration of up to 3 hours, while a six-cell battery will give us a range of more than 6 hours.

Connectivity

By purchasing a Netbook will also need to assess the possibilities of the team in terms of connectivity. While most of these mini PCs have USB connectors that allow the use of external devices such as printers, CD and DVD lectograbadoras, digital cameras, mobile phones and various peripherals, the truth is that we can also require other types connectors.

Thus, the ideal is to buy a team which also count VGA output for connecting to external monitors, flash card reader, audio input and output, and possibly Bluetooth and 3G support in addition to Wi-Fi.

These are some of the most important that we keep in mind when buying our new Netbook. The rest will depend on the budget that we have for it.
